Setting the standard
Article Abstract:
Useful information on leisure attraction management is emerging from an ongoing study conducted by the UK's Association of Leading Visitor Attractions. Some attractions, including Tussauds, attribute their success to research into visitor satisfaction. Others, including Hampton Court Palace, emphasize the contribution of season tickets. The study has revealed that spending on catering and retailing within leisure attractions is decreasing. However, some attractions have achieved success in their retailing through careful matching of merchandise to their visitor profile.
