The future for young people is green
Article Abstract:
A voicing of opinion by teenagers about their dissatisfaction with local parks, has led Spelthorne Borough Council to involve young people in its projects. Spelthorne has developed parks with reduced rates of crime and vandalism, as well as provided more activities, as suggested by young people. The council has also set up a Greenspace Forum to enable teenagers to propose future reforms in parks.
