The value of hotels
Article Abstract:
The UK hotel industry has always relied on the consistent value of hotel buildings to underpin its economy, although an increase in the number of diverse property purchases has led to a fluctuation in general valuation terms. The hotel market has developed several new areas, such as leisure complexes, locational factors and long-stay suites, which all alter the valuation of a traditional hotel. The market has also become dominated by a small but powerful group of owners.
