Tim Bacon
Article Abstract:
Australian-born Tim Bacon set up restaurant concept firm Life Restaurants in 1996, with co-founders Jeremy Robertson and Dave Hinds. The formation of the Life Cafe concept is the latest venture for the group, which plans to extend the idea of restaurants into bar and club using a creative dining formula. The first Life Cafe will open in November 1998 in Manchester, UK. The restaurant concept cost 2 million pounds sterling to establish and build, with plans for a Leeds-based Life Cafe expected for 1999. Bacon plans to remain in the industry for the foreseeable future.
