A brief review on the ancient history of North Carolina with reference to the scenic beauty and the popular Northerners is presented. While some of the important spots are Biltmore Estate, Loire Valley, and Black Mountain, the most popular people staying there include George Washington Vanderbilt and Thomas Wolfe.

Lisbon's Bel Canto
Article Abstract:
The life of Alfama, Lisbon the oldest neighborhood city that is awake to the soulful folk music of fado, which is an intrinsic part of the local culture, is described. The music is a mix of the African, Gypsy, European and the Brazilian styles, patronized by vagrants of the society during the era is presented.
