The war on paperwork
Article Abstract:
Forty-three percent of working hours are spent on reading and writing letters, reports and memos. Companies, however, need not be burdened by immense paperwork if they apply some simple techniques in managing organizational communication. More often than not, cover letters can be eliminated. Response cards can also befunctional for they provide faster feedback while destruction dates will enable employees to determine the more important documents.
