Envy at work
Article Abstract:
Business managers should be aware that envy is going to exist within the business environment, and that the envied person may feel confused and guilty. Envy develops in all groups where there is competition and conformity, including business environments where managers encourage employees to be creative and to develop their abilities. Solutions may include the expression of hurt by the envied person or encouragement of the envier so that they value their own strengths.

Article Abstract:
It is argued that philosophy in UK higher education is largely a male preserve. Women who hold an interest tend to be teaching in other departments, such as theology or the humanities. Feminist philosophy is thriving in the US and Australia, perhaps related to the changes in the subject itself. Many UK philosophy departments have closed or had cuts which has had an effect.
