The review on the Colonial beginnings of hunting reveal how America's ancestors adapted to many of the same challenges facing modern hunters. A short description on the guns used in colonial times that include English hunting guns and the northwest guns are presented.

The Redcoats' Brown Bess

A history of the Brown Bess musket as issued to the British army during the 18th century is presented. The evolving design began with the Long Land Pattern in 1730 and its successors served on both sides during the American revolution.
