Riding the iron snowbird
Article Abstract:
Amtrak's Auto Train takes you and your car the 861 miles from Lorton, VA, to Sanford, FL, 17 miles north of Orlando, in 16.5 hours. The overnight trip can give travelers an extra two days in Florida, but is priced in a way that some people would be better off flying and renting a car.
