Bob Novak, 67, known as 'the prince of darkness' was baptized, confirmed, and received his first Holy Communion at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1998. Bob Novak's good friends have wondered how he reconciles his Darwinian, take-no-prisoners conservatism with the biblical injunction to help the poor and the oppressed.

Television talk shows and newsmagazines try to outdo each other in getting high-profile interviewees to get additional ratings as competition heats up. Some of the methods border on the comical while others are more direct like giving interviewees blanket authority on the terms of their appearance.
