With God on both sides
Article Abstract:
Reverend Jim Wallis speaks about his book 'God's Politics: Why the Right Gets it Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It ', which has sold almost 300,000 copies. He presents a path between the conservatives of religious right who focus on abortion and gay marriage with the secular fundamentalists on the other side who ignore the need for religious values in politics, suggesting that more attention should be paid on poverty and global warming.
