A cretaceous symmetrodont therian with some monotreme-like postcranial features
Article Abstract:
A new spalacotheriid mammal preserved with a complete postcranium and a partial skull is discovered at China, and these spalacotheroid symmetrodonts are relatives to modern therians and are characterized by many skeletal apomorphies of therians. These peculiar features may have developed as functional convergence to locmotory features of montremes, or the presence of lumbar ribs in this newly discovered mammal and their absence in its close relatives might be due to evolutionary developmental homeplay.

A new symmetrodont mammal from China and its implications for mammalian evolution
Article Abstract:
A new symmetrodont mammal of the Mesozoic era has been discovered in Liaoning Province, China. Symmetrodonts are extinct relatives of living marsupial and placental therians. The new fossil taxon, consisting of an almost complete postcranial skeleton and a partial skull, provides further insight into the links of major lineages of mammals and evolution.

A euprimate skull from the early Eocene of China
Article Abstract:
A partially preserved euprimate skull with nearly complete upper and lower dentition, belonging to genus Teilhardina is described. The morphological and phylogeny analysis of the new species discovered from China, casts new light on adaptive origin of euprimates.
