A critique recovery of greenback cutthroat trout
Article Abstract:
The recovery of the federally threatened greenback Cutthroat Trout populations that is approaching delisting goal is discussed. It is suggested that the historical populations should be replicated in additional waters to protect genetic diversity and existing populations should be enlarged to reduce their vulnerability to demographic variation, to increase their access to refugia, and to permit reestablishment of mobile life histories.
