Achromatic fresnel optics for wideband extreme-ultraviolet and X-ray imaging
Article Abstract:
The achromatic Fresnel optical system for extreme-ultraviolet and X-ray radiation, consisting of a Fresnel zone plate with a refractive lens with opposite chromatic aberration, delivers a resolution comparable to the Fresnel plates delivering the highest resoultion in the entire electromagnetic specturm but add two or more orders of magnitude in spectral bandwidth. .

Reduced drag coefficient for high wind speeds in tropical cyclones
Article Abstract:
Analyses of data used to measure the profiles of the strong winds in the marine boundary layer linked with tropical cyclones determined surface stress, roughness length and neutral stability drag coefficient. Discusses the analyses and modeling applications, accompanied by tables, instrument findings, diagrams and sea state photographs.
