Non-fermentative pathways for synthesis of branched-chain higher alcohols as biofuels
Article Abstract:
A new strategy for the synthesis of branched-chain higher alcohols as biofuels is discussed. The approach is found to follow a non-fermentative pathway and gives high yields of the alcohols that otherwise cannot be obtained.
