Article Abstract:
Ammonia is produced industrially by combining nitrogen and hydrogen gas, catalyzed over a solid iron surface but now ammonia is produced from its elements in solution. Some elementary steps that could eventually be incorporated into a homogenous catalytic reaction are suggested.

A prototype storage ring for neutral molecules
Article Abstract:
Research including methods of cooling and manipulating atoms with light is presented. Particular attention is given to the inclusion of the prototype electrostatic storage ring constructed from a hexapole torus into the process of manipulating atoms with light.

Electrostatic trapping of ammonia molecules
Article Abstract:
Research describing the electrostatic trapping of ammonia molecules is presented. It is found that the polar molecules could be cooled and trapped and this then provides an opportunity for further studies.
