An unusual mid-Pleistocene monsoon period over Africa and Asia
Article Abstract:
Paleontology research has established an odd sapropel in eastern Mediterranean sediments which occurred at a time of low tropical summer insolation up to 525 thousand years ago. Most of the other sapropels known to exist in the Mediterranean occurred at higher tropical summer insolations. Further research is required to establish a full explanation of the mid-Pleistocene monsoon period.

The rhythm of the rains
Article Abstract:
Several studies of the deposits obtained from the Sanbao Cave in China are conducted to explain the past climate changes and the working o the East Asian Monsoon. It is observed that the monsoon is highly affected by the climate changes and can lead to increase in summer heating in the country in the near future.
