The selection committee will therefore probably choose someone steeped in academe with a proven track record and some one who can establish rapport between management and faculty.

In 1999, head of the U.S. National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) at a press conference presented two sets of posters showing a healthy brain and a brain damaged by use of ecstasy drug. The scientific community called this a cavalier approach to research and accused NIDA of drug-war ethos.
