Beyond the Hubble Space Telescope
Article Abstract:
The continuance of NASA's lead in space exploration requires the development of a new generation of space observatories. These include developing an infrared-optimized space observatory, capability for space interferometry at optical and infrared wavelengths, and continued operation of the Hubble Space Telescope beyond 2005. The initiatives aim at studying the oldest and the young stars along with researching the first few billion years of cosmic history. These will help NASA to evolve and sustain its 'Origins Program.'
