Recovery progress report
Article Abstract:
A document "Report to Congress: Endangered and Threatened Species Recovery Program" contains information on recovery plans and the overall status of listed species in the US. The aim of the recovery program is to rehabilitate the listed species and to sustain components of the ecosystem. Recovery plans serve as a model to follow in conserving listed species and the ecosystem for the public and private agencies. Recovery plan strategies are regularly modified to incorporate new information and projects that ensure safe recovery of the species.
