Curtain falls on Britain's nuclear structure facility
Article Abstract:
The 29th of March will mark the closure of the Nuclear Structure Facility (NSF) in Daresbury, Cheshire. The facility was opened in the mid-70sbut fell victim to a financial crisis two years ago at the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC), which funds its operations. There are plans to mount telecommunications equipment on the NSF tower, while SERC is thinking about turning it into a science visitor center.

Britain to spend 100 million pound sterling on innovative manufacturing
