Can juvenile Atlantic salmon use multiple cue systems in spatial learning?
Article Abstract:
The juveniles of the Atlantic salmon, Salmo salar, are able to utilize visible visual landmarks while tracking a moving food source. Training enables the juvenile salmon to pursue a moving food source even in the absence of distinct colored landmarks. A study of the juveniles' spatial learning reveals their ability to distinguish between two similar visual landmarks. The study is conducted over two phases, one with distinct visual landmarks and the other with visually identical landmarks.

Territory acquisition in lizards: III. Competing for space
Article Abstract:
A study of the territorial behavior of juvenile Anolis aeneus lizards revealed their acquisition of space during settlement periods to be directly correlated to their persistence levels and less with their aggressive behavior. Both dominants and subordinates in the social networks of this species had similar success levels in their territorial acquisition efforts.

An experiment analysis of territory size in juvenile steelhead trout
Article Abstract:
Levels of food abundance and density of competitors were manipulated to determine how they affect the territory size of juvenile steelhead trout. Territory size fell with increased rates of food abundance and rose with falling levels of fish density. Territory size also increased with increasing body size.
