Center for survival
Article Abstract:
The Wildlife Survival Center, which was started in 1974, aimed to breed species such as yellow-knobbed curassows, Leadbeater's cockatoos and pied hornbills that are becoming extinct. The center has separate rooms for the animals to hide themselves when their mates become assertive. The American Zoo and Aquarium Association award was presented to the society in 1992 for its captive breeding program.
