Chromatin remodeling at promoters suppresses antisense transcription
Article Abstract:
The ATP-dependent chromatin enzymes are studied to explain the control mechanism of the chromatin structure across the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome. Chromatin remodelling of such enzymes is found to highly suppress the antisense transcription.

Two yeast forkhead genes regulate the cell cycle and pseudohyphal growth
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the lack of regulation of cell cycles in the CLB2 cluster of genes in a mutant lacking two forkhead transcription factors. The role of Fkh proteins as transcription factors is discussed.

Forkhead-like transcription factors recruit Ndd1 to the chromatin of G2/M-specific promoters
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the cell-cycle-specific events in budding yeast. The cooperation of a minimum of three different nuclear factors in the activation of periodic G2/M-specific genes is discussed.
