Cooperation and competition in pathogenic bacteria
Article Abstract:
The effect of the scale of competition, its interaction with relatedness and cooperation in pathogenic bacteria is tested using an experimental evolution approach. Results indicate that a significant level of interaction exists between relatedness and the scale of competition and relatedness has less effect when the scale of competition is local.
