Behavioral tactics at nest visits differ between parasites and hosts in a brood-parasitic duck
Article Abstract:
The brood parasitism at the nest sites and behavior of the parasites and hosts at the nests is studied. It is seen that the parasitism in goldeneye population, showed different behavioral tactics when compared with the behavior of the hosts and not simply a side-effect of competition between females over the same nest.
