The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is taking steps to reduce their emission of approximately 34,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases to help New York City reach its goal of 30 percent carbon footprint reduction by 2030. The WCS' green projects include their Eco-restroom and the use of energy saving technologies at the Bronx Zoo.
