Quantum interference of superfluid 3He
Article Abstract:
Research describing a double path quantum interference experiment with a liquid is presented. In particular a superfluid quantum interferometer analogous to a d.c. superconducting quantum interference device is developed.

Observation of 'third sound' in superfluid (super3)He
Article Abstract:
Surface waves on fluids are useful in the study of the fluid itself and the environment surrounding it. Surface waves cannot usually occur on very thin films as motion is inhibited by viscosity, although surface waves do exist in the case of thin films of superfluid (super4)He. Similar surface waves have been detected in thin films of superfluid (super3)He.

Discovery of a metastable pi-state in a superfluid 3He weak link
Article Abstract:
Evidence has been found for the existence of a metastable superfluid state in which a quantum phase difference of pi is maintained across a weak link separating two reservoirs of superfluid 3He. This state is the superfluid analogue of a superconducting pi-junction. The symmetry of the p-wave order parameter may permit locally stable phase differences of pi to exist across a weak link between two containers of superfluid 3He.
