Response of Savanna Fire Regimes to Changing Fire-Management Policies in a Large African National Park
Article Abstract:
The seasonal distribution and spatial heterogeneity of prescribed burning and lightning-dominated fire regimes in South Africa's Kruger National Park are analyzed. A flexible prescribed burning regime that includes lightning-ignited fires is adopted.
