Fake finds reveal critical deficiency
Article Abstract:
Japanese archaeologist, Shinichi Fujimura, was fired from his position as the Tohoku Paleolithic Institute's senior director, when the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper revealed evidence that he was committing fraud. Fujimura had been filmed burying stone tools that he had dug up at previous sites, and then digging them up again to claim them as newly-discovered artifacts.
