'Better adherence vital in AIDS therapies'
Article Abstract:
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome experts want to improve combination therapy treatment strategies for HIV-positive patients because complicated drug treatments are not being adhered to at the present time. Members of The Forum for Collaborative AIDS Research will set up an agenda using collaborative research involving biomedical and behavioural scientists on behalf of the US National Institutes of Health. Some treatment plans involve ten daily tables to be taken at precise times.
