Habituation of Adult Magellanic Penguins to Human Visitation as Expressed through Behavior and Corticosterone Secretion
Article Abstract:
A comparison is presented between Megellanic penguin populations living in tourist-visited areas and undisturbed areas at Punta Tombo, Argentina. Physiological differences were detected between the two groups; implications for ecotourism and wildlife management are discussed.
