Impact of urbanization and land-use change on climate
Article Abstract:
Research reveals that 50% of the decrease in diurnal temperature range is caused by urban and other land-use changes. Data indicate that the mean surface warming per century due to land-use changes is at 0.27 C, which is twice as high as previous estimations based on the impact of urbanization.

Urbanization effects on tree growth in the vicinity of New York City
Article Abstract:
Research shows that the increased tree growth and enhanced biomass in the urban sites as compared to rural environment is due to lower levels of ozone exposure in the urban environment. Data indicate that higher rural ozone exposure reduces growth of trees and consequently the biomass.

Warm debate on early climate
Article Abstract:
A famous paradox of ancient climate demands, the reconciliation of the persistent of a life-sustaining liquid ocean with less warming rays from a faint young Sun. It is assumed that the main warming agent was carbon dioxide.
