Integrating professional skills in wildlife student education
Article Abstract:
The need to improve quantitative scientific proficiency in wildlife students and to develop wildlife researchers and managers capable of solving current and future challenges in wildlife management is discussed. Research and management skills need to be integrated in wildlife student education for successful wildlife management and conservation.

Article Abstract:
Compensation programs for wildlife damages has implemented in many countries in an effort to attenuate human-wildlife conflict and promote conservation of charismatic megafauna. Compensating pastoralists and farmers for damage caused by wildlife reduces hunting pressure on wild animal populations.

Variation among Student Chapters of The Wildlife Society
Article Abstract:
A study was carried out to determine the extent of activity among Student Chapters of The Wildlife Society. Results showed that Student Chapters played an active role in activities and the parent organization should recruit more members and continue to conduct student programs.
