Interplanetary kidnap
Article Abstract:
Attempt are made to find out the mechanisms which applies to the capture of most of the irregular satellites, exclusively on Triton, the Neptune moon and was probably part of a two-body object. A model proposed for the capture of Triton would rapidly become a mainstay for models of the origin of irregular satellites, one of the principal open problems in planetary science.

The formation of the Kuiper belt by the outward transport of bodies during Neptune's migration
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that the formation of the dynamically cold Kuiper belt may have occurred within approximately 35 AU and pushed by Neptune's 1:2 mean motion resonance. Data suggest that the Kuiper belt initially formed closer to the Sun but transported outward during its final stage of formation.

Iron meteorites as remnants of planetesimals formed in the terrestrial planet region
Article Abstract:
Iron meteorites are core fragments from differentiated and subsequently disrupted planetesimals. The iron-meteorite parent bodies most probably formed in the terrestrial planet region and select few might be remnants of the long-lost precursor material that formed the Earth.
