Row over fate of endangered monkeys
Article Abstract:
Animal-welfare activists and researchers in Japan are once again locked in battle regarding the use of wild monkeys for neuroscience and physiology research. Japan's Environment Agency has presented a draft of its guidelines for the treatment of the country's macaques, but both activists and researchers are unhappy with the proposals.

Article Abstract:
An analysis shows that most of the philanthropic funds in Japan go to researches in the industrial fields. It is suggested that more awareness should be created in the country to encourage rich people of the society to contribute for society's welfare.
