Letter from Kenya
Article Abstract:
Kenya has always been the favourite among the conservationists as it possesses the largest concentrations of wildlife and wild creatures left on the Earth. Many efforts have been made to build a rational relationship between the Maassai peoples and Maassai Mara Reserve and to save wildlife from the growing human population especially the Kitengala corridor. Animals needing protection include antelopes, zebras, flamingos and elephants in Amboseli.

Difficult choices
Article Abstract:
It is up to the people of wealthy nations to support the wildlife heritage of countries in economic and environmental turmoil. Africa in particular, needs the commitment of the first world to save its irreplaceable wildlife. A new exhibit at the Bronx Zoo in New York, 'Congo Gorilla Forest,' aims to persuade its visitors that conservation is key to sustaining the global environment.
