Methane bubbling from Siberian thaw lakes as a positive feedback to climate warming
Article Abstract:
A new method for measuring ebullition is described and it could be used to quantify methane emissions from two thaw lakes in North Siberia. The thawing permafrost along lake margins accounts for most of the methane released from the lakes and the Pleistocene age (35,260-42,900 years) of methane emitted from hotspots along thawing lake margins has indicated that this positive feedback to climate warming has led to the release of old carbon stocks previously stored in permafrost.

Warming to economics
Article Abstract:
The collaboration between climate scientists and economists has become essential in the recent times to predict climate change and global warming. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has encouraged climate scientists and economists to work closely on global warming issues and the resulting effort has helped in understanding the effect of economic growth, lifestyle changes, international trade, and investment in the energy sector on greenhouse-gas emissions.

Potential impacts of a warming climate on water availability in snow-dominated regions
Article Abstract:
The simplest changes associated with global warming will be responsible for alterations of the hydrological cycle in snowmelt-dominated regions via seasonal shifts in stream flow. The changes will lead to serious regional water shortages in many regions of the earth without adequate water storage capacity.
