Modelling the recent common ancestry of all living humans
Article Abstract:
The recent common ancestors emerge from two models incorporating substantial population substructure, one model designed for simplicity and theoretical insight, yields explicit mathematical results through a probabilistic analysis. The second model designed to capture historical population dynamics is analyzed computationally through Monte Carlo simulations. The analyses suggest that the genealogies of all living humans overlap in remarkable ways.

Craniometric evidence for Palaeamerican survival in Baja California
Article Abstract:
Evidence of a modern Amerindian group from the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, showing clearer affinities with Palaeoamerican remains than with modern Amerindians, is presented. A different origin for Palaeoamericans and Amerindians is invoked to explain the relation between them.
