Switch from specialized to generalized pollination
Article Abstract:
Research suggests that Dalechampia (Euphorbiaceae) vines have evolved from being specifically pollinated by resin-collecting bees to accepting a number of pollen-feeding insects in pollination. Evidence indicates that Dalechampia on the island of Madagascar, Africa, diversified because they were responsive to non-specific pollinating insects. Phylogenetic information is illustrated.

Nematode phylogeny and embryology
Article Abstract:
The phylogenetic tree of the phylum Nematoda is presented by Blaxter and colleagues, based on the sequences of small subunit (SSU) ribosomal DNA. Nematode groups resulting from the first branching are clade I, II and III-V. Nematodes from clade II develop differently from other groups due to divisions in the early embryos, which are synchronous, producing blastomeres.
