Neutrinos make a splash in Italy
Article Abstract:
A project OPERA, which is started in September 2006 is a collaboration between the CERN particle-physics lab, near Geneva, and the Gran Sasso National Laboratory, located 1,400 metres underground in the region of Abruzzo and run by Italy's National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INGN). The flux of neutrinos, fundamental particles that are electrically neutral, is generated by an accelerator at CERN, and beamed towards the Italian lab.

Neutrinos reveal split personalities
Article Abstract:
Research describing solar neutrinos is presented. In particular the possibility that "missing" neutrinos can be accounted for by changes in their characteristics as they journey from the Sun is investigated.

Blessings of mixed neutrinos
Article Abstract:
Evidence has been presented that neutrinos travelling from the Sun to the Earth change identity. However, the discovery that neutrinos have mass does not invalidate the standard model.
