Orientation scatter of free-flying nocturnal passerine migrants: components and causes
Article Abstract:
The variation in concentration of orientation among nocturnally migrating passerine birds is studied. The high concentration of heading directions of free-flying migrants is in contrast to the widely scattered distributions observed in orientation experiments with caged birds.

Do migratory flight paths of raptors follow constant geographical or geomagnetic courses?
Article Abstract:
A study to determine the track direction usually followed by raptors while migrating over homogeneous topography is presented. Raptors follow a constant geographical course rather than a constant geomagnetic course.

Temporal and spatial patterns of repeated migratory journeys by ospreys
Article Abstract:
Using data from satellite monitored journeys of ospreys (Pandion haliaetus) between Europe and West Africa the migration timings and flight patterns of the birds were studied.
