Propagation of solar oscillations through the interplanetary medium
Article Abstract:
The spectrum of the fluxes of interplanetary particles, measured by the Ulysses and Voyager spacecrafts, contains individual spectral lines most of which correspond to the gravity (g) modes of the solar oscillations. These periodic components of the spectrum are non-harmonic. The sun's surface supergranular motions are probably affected by g modes and so produce periodic fluxes in the interplanetary magnetic field. Thus, the charged particles diffuse into the interplanetary medium by IMF fluctuations and discrete wave frequencies.

Sexual propagation by sponge fragments
Article Abstract:
Research into reproduction in Scopalina lophyropoda, a sublittoral demosponge with populations sparsely scattered across the western Mediterranean, indicates that even small fragments often contain the vital functional elements for reorganizing and nourishing embryos. It has also been established that fragmentation could interact with sexual reproduction, with the additional dispersal of the asexual propagule maximizing the dispersal capacity of sexually produced propagules.

Slow rotation of the Sun's interior
Article Abstract:
Analysis of solar oscillations shows that there is a region of significantly slower rotation in the interior of the Sun as compared with surface rotation. This situation is either transient or varies with the solar cycle. Another hypothesis is that the rotation is steady as the thermonuclear energy generated in the core drives the material motion.
