Raining bullets: the aerial war on coyotes
Article Abstract:
US farmers and hunters have traditionally killed coyotes by traps, snares, and poison in order to protect livestock. Since the 1920s the federal government has made legal use, through the US Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services agency, of the annual killing of more than 25,000 coyotes by aerial gunning from low-flying airplanes.
