Reaching for the moon
Article Abstract:
NASA is planning to send astronauts to the moon in 2018 to stay on the lunar surface for some time, having arrived in a new space vehicle attached to a new crew transport launched by rockets derived from the space shuttle. Various other nations such as Japan, India, China, Europe and Russia are making plans for this scientific mission sent to lunar orbit.

China blasts off on lunar exploration
Article Abstract:
China started its moon exploration program by launching its first lunar orbiter from Sichuan province in southwest China on 24 October 2007. China is also planning to join the International Space Station.
