Article Abstract:
A new prenatal technique devised by Arthur Beaudet could help doctors to spot potential genetic defects in unborn babies, helping the parents to deal with the disease in a better way. At the same time scientists feel that this might cause extra-anxiety for parents-to-be and may also lead to termination of fetuses with undesirable traits and may also lead to some unethical practices.

Article Abstract:
Ethicists discuss about the issue regarding the growing power of brain images, which are invariably responsible to sway public opinion in areas such as medicine, crime and human rights. It is suggested that the neuroscientists must learn to use the emotive images responsibly, and should be more open about the limitations of their work.
