Targeting conservation action through assessment of protection and exurban threats
Article Abstract:
The author presents a methodology to evaluate degree of threat to biodiversity conservation, along with a metric to assess the level of patch fragmentation caused by urban development. These techniques enable conservationists to determine vulnerability in protected areas due to the presence of urbanization.
