Supernetwork to boost women in science
Article Abstract:
Representatives of women in science groups throughout Europe attended a meeting held under the auspices of the European Commissions's research directorate, DGXII, to discuss common goals and objectives in improving gender balance in scientific decision-making. The commission is committed to increasing women's participation in the union's research programmes, and it is hoped that the meeting will result in an exchange of experience within networks.
