Article Abstract:
A decrease in nerve signals when a nerve is stimulated repeatedly is termed depression, and this feature is critical to our ability to pinpoint the location of sounds in space. This ability is not confounded by the loudness of the sound. This, even though sound arriving at one ear is no more than a half a millisecond before it arrives at the other ear.

Three modes of synaptic vesicular recycling revealed by single-vesicle imaging
Article Abstract:
The vesicle recycling in small synapses of hippocampal neurons, which permits to resolve single-vesicle events, is investigated. The three modes of synapses drawn on a limited pool of releasable vesicles along with its transmission are discussed.
