The rapid formation of a large rotating disk galaxy three billion years after the Big Bang
Article Abstract:
The high-angular observations of a representative luminous star-forming galaxy when the Universe was only 20 percent of its current age are reported. The high surface densities of gas, the high rate of star formation and the moderately young stellar ages have suggested rapid assembly, fragmentation and conversion to stars of an initially very gas-rich protodisk, with no obvious evidence for a major merger.

Near- infrared flares from accreting gas around the supermassive black hole at the galactic center
Article Abstract:
High-resolution infrared observation of Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*) that reveals 'quiescent' emission and several flares are reported. Diagram displaying spectral energy Sagittarius A* distribution emission from SgrA* is presented.
